The 7RYMS RimoMic Lite is a wireless lavalier mic. At a glance, it is quite attractive. The smooth matte outer shell is really nice, especially in the white color that I got. Lavalier mics tend to be stereotypically black, so having the option to match light-colored clothes (or even other white accessories) is elating. The mic system itself works as such; using radio frequency, the receiver (with the mini LCD screen) plugs into the device that is capturing your sound signals. For me, I can plug it into my USB-C devices like phones and tablets, and also USB-A devices like laptops and desktops (via included adapter). I do like the versatility, though do note that for mobile devices, standard camera and communication apps may not be compatible (not a device problem, but individual apps lacking general support for wireless mic issue), meaning your mileage on versatility may vary. It does not need an independent power source as it draws from whatever device it plugs into. For the mic/transmitter, it’s all-in-one, meaning that it’s combined instead of having the mic separate from the transmitter and placed in two different places. The backside does have a decent clip that will hold its own weight and won’t fall/swing off. Transmitter is powered by a small but mighty non-replaceable 250mah rechargeable battery. Some notable features for this mic involve the customization for sound settings. The transmitter has volume up/down buttons to allow device-side gain adjustments, and a power button that also functions as an on/off button for low-cut filter (low frequency white background noises are reduced when capturing sound). Even for its small size, it still carries a 3. 5mm jack for live audio monitoring. For the battery life, it’s understandably good. Given the really tiny nature of the mic, as well as the extremely light-weight, I typically get around 2. 5-hours on a single charge of the transmitter (on its 3-hour rating), but distance and connection will influence run time. It also comes with a nice assortment of accessories including a wind screen muff (color matched white! ), an USB-A to USB-C cable (for recharging the transmitter), an USB-C to USB-A adapter (mainly being computer port friendly), and a small velvet drawstring pouch to hold everything in a portable package. Let’s face it, one cannot always assume products come with all the standard useful accessories like it did back in the days when phones came with chargers and earphones. Now how is its main function as a mic? It’s definitely steps up from the typical standard mics on most mobile devices, as it provides better clarity and consistency in calls and sound recordings. The low-cut filter and the windscreen add on to being able to isolate the loudest main source of sound from background noise. In addition, I don’t have to hand hold it nor have it attached to my ear/face, but on my shirt collar. It’s performs well endurance wise, but of course if you’re looking to use it for a longer interval or extended time between charges, you may want to check out other mics that will have to be larger and/or heavier in order to have a bigger or replaceable batteries. It also isn’t capable of recharging and being in use at the same time, so that is a bit unfortunate when meetings go longer than expected run time. Otherwise, it just fits in that relatively useful category that this was intended for. Before heading into any considerations, do note that this mic is offered in 2 different configurations; one with an Apple Lightening interface (LN) and one with an USB-C interface (UC). It’s different products, and not interchangeable, so decide the use case and interface compatibility beforehand. Otherwise, this is the super nifty, aesthetically pleasing mic you’ve never knew existed but now want.

The sound quality is pretty good! It worked about 2 hours non stop recording with single charge. That's enough for most trainings and recording sessions.

When making quality videos, audio is really important. You can watch a video with bad video quality but not bad audio quality. While searching on the market, we often steer toward Rode because they have the best mics on the market, but do you really want to pay the Rode price? That's where the 7RYMS Lavier mic came in. It's the best bang for your buck. While first taking out of the package I was really surprised at how light weight it was. I choose the pink color to make my lavier really stand out. It came with a little pouch, lightening cable and dead cat. Setup was a breeze and it made the audio on my ipad, Mac and Ipad so much better. I got close to the advertised 3 hours and close to the 30 meters. It has really helped with my tiktok videos and its a must have if you really want to improve your audio game. For this price and quality, you cant beat it!

The media could not be loaded. The RimoMic Lite is a fantastic option for anyone looking to create good videos with the mobile phone. Most phones can capture quality video but, the sound can be a challenge, especially when your phone isn't right in front of you while speaking to it. The RimoMic Lite has opened up my mobile phone for powerful content creation, as it allows me to move around, turn my head, and even turn my back to the camera without any loss in sound quality!
The RimoMic Lite is available with USB-C or lightning port (I got the lightning), so it will work with whatever phone your currently have. It is available in black, white, or pink (I thought it would be cute to get the pink).
In a nutshell, the sound quality is better than my phone's microphone would pick up on its own and I use my phone for more content creation than I ever have before! I highly recommend this addition to your current phone. Even if you create content with bigger cameras than your phone, your phone is always with you so why not utilize the tool you have in your pocket.

This is a good little microphone and easy to use. I have tried it hooking up to my computer to do podcast and it hooked up and worked well. You do have to make sure that you select it under your microphone settings if you have a camera like mine with a built in mic. I tried this on one of my Samsung note 8 and could not get it to record on my camera app but I think that is because it is an old phone. I tried on my sons newer Samsung and it worked perfectly as expected. The C port plug on the receiver is short so you will need to remove any case you have on the phone to get it to plug in correctly. I would recommend this as a good choice for a wireless microphone.

You can also control the volume directly on the Lav! This is a very clear mic and because of the visual monitoring you dont have to worry about clipping at all! Also!!! You can plug headphones directly into the transmitter to monitor the sounds if you are using for voice overs, etc. There is a Lightning Port and USB-C version! This one is a great pick up and only $89!!

This works great both as a primary and redundant audio source! I personally use this as a backup source for interviews and other projects by hooking the receiver to my laptop. Thankfully I haven't had to rely on the backup for any projects yet, but I'm given much relief knowing I have a good quality plan B if needed.
